Conditions of use

Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of CheckBatteryHealth, including the battery analyzer, report upload workflow, manual calculator, guides, help content, and contact resources.

By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. Stop using the site if you do not agree.

Service description

What the site provides

CheckBatteryHealth provides a capacity calculator, a Windows report analysis workflow, operating-system guides, general interpretation, and related educational content.

The calculation is based on information supplied by the user or reported by the operating system, battery controller, firmware, driver, or manufacturer.

The site can change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or technical reasons.

Uploaded reports

You control the file you submit

You must have the right to submit a report and must review it before upload. Do not submit an unrelated file, another person's report without permission, or information that is not needed for battery analysis.

You remain responsible for the content, legality, accuracy, and suitability of information you provide.

Manual values

Use compatible measurements

Design Capacity and Full Charge Capacity must use the same unit. Do not enter percentages as raw capacity values or treat mWh and mAh as interchangeable without valid technical context.

Acceptable use

Prohibited activity

  • Submitting malicious, executable, deceptive, unlawfully obtained, or unrelated files.
  • Attempting to bypass file limits, validation, access controls, rate limits, or security protections.
  • Using automated requests in a way that disrupts the service or consumes unreasonable resources.
  • Probing, scanning, exploiting, reverse engineering, or interfering with the site except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Misrepresenting a result as a professional diagnosis, certification, safety approval, warranty decision, or manufacturer statement.
  • Using the site to violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights, contractual rights, or applicable law.

Site content

Intellectual property

The site's original interface, written content, branding, code, and graphics are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless a different license or ownership notice is displayed.

You may use the site for personal or internal informational purposes. Do not reproduce, republish, sell, scrape, or redistribute substantial site content without permission or a lawful basis.

External material

Third-party rights

Product names, operating-system names, trademarks, documentation, and external resources belong to their respective owners. References do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or ownership.

Results and guidance

No professional diagnosis

A result is a capacity-based calculation. It does not confirm battery safety, identify every hardware problem, determine warranty coverage, or replace manufacturer diagnostics and qualified inspection.

User decisions

Verify before acting

You are responsible for evaluating the result, confirming device-specific guidance, backing up important data, and deciding whether to contact the manufacturer or a qualified repair professional.

Availability

No continuous-service guarantee

The site may experience downtime, errors, security restrictions, browser incompatibility, changed report formats, or missing battery fields. Access can be limited when reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users.

Changes

Features and terms may change

These terms and the service may be updated to reflect technical, legal, security, or operational changes. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from the time they are published, subject to applicable law.

Warranty and liability

Limits permitted by applicable law

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, compatibility, completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the site, reliance on a result, device decisions, data loss, or third-party resources.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
